For parents

A short guide to GALS.

Getting started

  1. Sign in — email and password (if you don’t have an account yet, you’ll be asked to create one).
  2. Confirm your email — code or link from the message on Confirm email.
  3. Create your child profile: name, username, password, and the About your child questionnaire (including language of communication with the child — the language the AI uses for task review feedback).
  4. Agree the plan — save the child’s login and password (shown once); review the draft and click Save.
  5. On the dashboard — profile card: during setup follow the next step (for example Continue setup); after setup the card shows status, current-set progress, rhythm, and a focus topic.
  6. Give your child the login details for sign in.

Before the first set

Step Where Your action
Map Progress Usually nothing — builds on its own; edit topics manually if needed
First set Tasks Builds on its own; tweak with a comment and Regenerate if needed

Every day

Who Screen Meaning
Child Current tasks Current set; by default only not-yet-accepted, Show all for the full list
Child Past work Archive (not required before a new set)
Parent Tasks Upload photos; list like the child’s (not-accepted first); next-set button only on the latest set

Checking a task

Path Actions
By photo Photos → Check → feedback; error under the button — reshoot
Myself I verified it myselfNo errors or Had errors (+ text) → Save

Incomplete review does not block the next set.

More: Daily cycle.

Editing a set after it is issued

On Tasks for the current set: comments on tasks to rework (empty = fine) → Regenerate. Only marked tasks change; their current check result is cleared. If the child already started — that is your call. The child sees the new text without a separate notification.

Before the set is issued, the system checks links and may auto-rewrite tasks with broken URLs. Draft → Publish remains for control work and diagnostics.
